After the American civil war thousands of southerners moved to Brazil. Their descendents still live there today in Brazil.

That's cool. They probably moved to São Paulo or the far south, and that's why I haven't met any. We have a lot more immigrant groups than people think.

Wow, it says over 20,000 people immigrated here. It doesn't say where thier settlement is though.
