First post on the forum, but I've lurked for so long I have a good grip on how Atlas operates - I'm finally posting because the restriction on viewing images finally forced my hand.

Age: 20s

Birthday: August 23

Gender: Male

Sexual orientation: Straight

Race: African-American

Birthplace: NYC

Residence: Henry County, Georgia (GA-3, HD-109, SD-17)

Occupation: College student (almost done, yay!)

Political alignment: Dem-leaning independent nowadays.

First election: 2014, but I voted provisional that year and forgot to go verify my ballot, so 2016. I vote in every last election, even if there's only a tax-related question on the ballot.

Electoral history:
  • Nov. 2014: Mostly Dem, but I split my ticket for Nathan Deal in his reelection bid.
  • Mar. 2016: Kasich in the GOP presidential primary.
  • May 2016: GOP in the state primary, but only because the guy primarying my then-state rep was a POS and the Dems didn't run a candidate for the seat.
  • Nov. 2016: Mostly Dem, but I split my ticket for a few county-level offices.
  • Jan. 2018: Dem (GA SD-17 special election).
  • May 2018: Dem in the state primary.
  • Nov. 2018: Straight-ticket Dem.
  • Dec. 2018: Straight-ticket Dem (the runoffs were close AF).

It's good to be back. It was a busy school year, which unfortunately saw the death of my stepfather (I've been looking after my Mom and had to quit studying Polish, at least for now).

I've made a few new comments and posts, mostly under Election Results, Election 2020, Past What-ifs, and Alternate histories. I just ran another mathematical model of the 2020 Presidential election, probably more accurate than the first one, but who really knows?

I enjoy karaoke and board games, as well as pop and some alternative, folk, and independent music.

favorite candy: Reeces Cups
favorite sports: American presidential elections, watching the weather models (anybody who follows weather as a hobby will understand)
favorite city: several, depending on region--Sapporo (favorite overall and favorite Japanese/east Asian city), Seattle (of US), Toronto (of North America), London (of Europe, in part from knowing several people that live there), Muscat (of Middle East), Astana (of central Asia, probably favorite overall if going purely on architecture), Dakar (of Africa), Santiago (Chile), and Saba (Caribbean, though not technically a city but a small island)
Favorite country (again varying by region: Japan (overall/east Asia), Oman (western Asia), Benin (Africa), Finland (Europe), Chile (South America), Costa Rica (Caribbean), Canada (North America)
interests: photography, Japanese culture (leading naturally to anime), dolls, geography and travel (probably obvious here, despite being too poor to partake), meteorology, history, politics, psychology to some degree (because I like analyzing things) and recently I've become interested in reading health/nutrition articles though more as a form of education rather than a hobby--and interesting that practically all of these (save for the last few) encompass various aspects of photography

bonus: digestive problems are hell

Wow, Virgo! Very orderly amidst the chaos. Very free and mobile (CHI-town to CALI.) Very stubborn but who isn't! Your creativity will bring about great results with LEO (like Keanu Reeves) or another EARTH sign.

Well, to start, I'm currently a sophomore in high school, with an interest in electoral politics, as well as an interest in healthcare and economic policy. Male, White, come from British, Irish, French, and Norwegian ancestry, in other words, your average Minnesotan, which is my home state, obviously. I'm an agnostic atheist, but see the benefits of moderate religious activity towards someone's mental well being, despite the fact I don't participate in them personally. I identify as an independent social liberal, who believes in equality of opportunity, not an equality of outcome. I'm a strong advocate for universal healthcare, a mix of third way and progressive taxation, electoral reform of the EC, and the abolition of political parties. I supported Bernie Sanders in the 2016 primary, due to his policy on universal healthcare, as well as my dislike for Hillary Clinton. Once the general election hit, in the school elections they had, I picked Hillary over Trump, due to her being the lesser of two evils to me, and since Minnesota was very close in 2016, I figured if I was actually voting, my vote would matter a lot in the long run, leading to my choice to picking Clinton. As of now, I'm supporting Andrew Yang for president right now, since when compared to every other candidate on both sides, I relate to him on most issues. My main non-political hobbies mostly consist of gaming, and making various maps, both political and non-political.
