Is there any way to formally denounce Christianity besides saying, "I don't believe that Jesus is the son of God"? I left Christianity awhile ago, but I still haven't found a formal way out, if there really is one.

I think Heaven is whatever you want to believe, its a metaphysical place/dreamlike place. 
I think God takes whatever form you want him or her to take, its a coping mechanism.

baptism in Christianity symbolizes death and resurrection. so as it is a reversal itself, a palindromic ritual, it is impossible to reverse it and come up with anything different.
