Links for interwebs coverage:

http://www.radio-canada.ca/regions/municipales2009/
http://www.cbc.ca/montreal/features/civicvote2009/index.html (Laval + Montreal only)
http://www.resultats-municipales2009.gouv.qc.ca/

Anyways, I'll watch it on the telly and will probably come in here to express my glee, anger, surprise or disappointment.

Polls are now closed, except a couple of polling station in Montreal.

Montreal results will begin after 8:55PM because of that.

It's weird getting to experience an East Coast election at the same time polls close. Normally these things happen right when I'm sitting down for dinner.

In my town, incumbent mayor is a little bit over 90% after a few ballot boxes.

My mayor won too. With a bigger margin than Vaillancourt and Tremblay.

Former merged cities are more in than inner cities areas, so Tremblay margin should be reduced.

Edit: But not so much.

2339/4517 polls

Tremblay 37
Harel 33
Bergeron 25

Also, there is a tie on the first seat on the municipal council 537 votes to 537 votes.

Very funny.

I am angry. My favorite councillor in the Val-d'Or city council was closely defeated by a very slimy businessman than I hate.

And TV said than Tremblay will be re-elected.
