I just want to say that my previous statement was simply a spur of the moment angry moment.  I simply had a lot of problems with the RPP's tactics in the previous election.  However I do have many friends and allies in the RPP and I do continue to plan to work with them as long as they'd like me to.

I highly doubt that, you have shown yourself time and time again to be prone to thinking you are somehow relevant.  I didn't really say that your opinion meant anything, just whether people in the party who actually matter agreed with it.  Your input here was unnecessary

How are you any more relevant than I am?  Even "the party you founded" has it's members having to defend your statements and saying that they do not stand by them.  You were forced out of your leadership position.  I on the other hand have revolutionized a cabinet position and am a well respected member of my party.  Who now is irrelevant?

Revolutionized a cabinet position?  95% of Atlasians have no idea what you have done.

I brought conservatives back to Atlasia and gave them a voice, then, for the good of my own party stepped down and handpicked my successor.  I'm an infinite term senator and am returning there in January.  When you start a party like the RPP and do something worthwhile let me know.  The fact is the DA would survive without you, the RPP cannot survive without me as the Duke/Marokai special election showed

No, they had you this past election too and with three times as many voters as us we still won twice as many seats as you, and then the one senator you got in left the party.  What impressive leadership.

The reason?  The party decisions that were against my decisions.  The evidence is on the private forum.  Also, the GOTV was weak, if we got everyone out we would have won.

Actually I just pointing out how irrelveant HW is and then he tries to make ridiculous claims that I have to defend myself against.  The fact is, the game would miss nothing if HW wasn't here.

Guys, Franzl and Cheese have both already asked once nicely: Please cease and desist the flame war in their campaign HQ thread.

C'mon, there's PLENTY of other threads you all can take this neverending argument to. M'kay?

I've looked through Atlasian law, and couldn't find anything meaningful about this topic, but feel free to correct me if I've missed something!

Anyway, considering that Atlasia is now being dragged into a moral debate, with attempts to ban abortion and, from the other side, eliminate the pornography age, Swedish Cheese and I think we should make another proposal in this area. Our views are common knowledge on the above mentioned subjects.

But for the record, I (and I think my running mate) support eliminating the minimum age to purchase and view pornography, as prohibition constitutes an entirely victimless crime.

Swedish Franzl National Sex Education Program:

* Regions shall be required to see to it that every school provides high quality sex education, not only about the practice itself, but also to explain about sexuality in general and to combat discrimination against any portion of the population due to sexuality.

* Abstinence only sex education programs will not be tolerated. It is in the interest of all our children that they learn about sex. I stress that these programs DO NOT encourage sex. Teens are going to have sex regardless of what they learn in school about it. It's been proven time and time again in real life that states with proper sex education have far lower teen birth rates.

* Sex education shall include actual practice with condom usage, such as putting them on bananas and taking them off again.

* Regions shall distribute subsidized condoms at schools upon request. The federal government shall provide funding.

* Regions that do not comply will lose funding. I'm not entirely sure what funding that will be....I'm reluctant to cut education funding, but something does need to be done to ensure the well being of our students.

Either of you can answer this question...
What age do you believe we should start teaching children about sex education? And when you say "Regions shall distribute condoms at schools upon request", are you referring to the usage of condoms in sex education class, or do you think schools should be giving condoms out to kids to use elsewhere?

I'd say around 8th grade is appropriate to begin sex education.

And yes, condoms, of course, should be available to use in private upon request.

I'm suprised you would say 8th grade. In America, I took my first class (lasted 2 weeks) in 6th grade.

I oppose your idea to give condoms to students for private use. I do not think it is something the schools should be providing students. And if that was put into place, I think the parents should be aware of the fact that their child is asking for condoms.

Parents should most certainly not be informed of their children asking for condoms.

Providing discretion and access to contraception can only have positive consequences. Children will have sex regardless of their parents' wishes or their access to condoms. That's a simple fact. I find opposition to making that sex safer extremely hateful.

Take a look at teen pregnancy rates. Attempts to prevent sex don't work.

Personally, I think since parents are paying for those condems, they should have the right to know if their child requested one. But I guess we can agree to disagree. Smiley

I absolutely agree, parental notification would just be another way of preventing distribution of contraceptives, and it shouldn't ever be implemented with things like this. It seems like a nice idea on the face of it, but it's really just a disguised anti-birth control measure.

Abortions.. maybe. But that's not really the issue here.

That'll have one result:

Many students won't ask for condoms if they know their parents will be informed about their own personal decision to have sex.

That will make the program ineffective because children will continue to have unprotected sex resulting in the same negative consequences that this program is supposed to prevent.
