I know who you were going for, but now I have no idea. I imagine someone who has respect from both sides, likely a semi-moderate. I could see PiT as the pick.
You know who the target was after Franzl?  That surprises me I thought we did a better job keeping things under wraps.  I can confirm its not myself but won't speculate beyond that other than to say the person has been mentioned

If it is an RPP member, then Smid would presumably be the best candidate. While he might not be willing to run for Senate, I could see RPPites trying to convince him that the VP slot doesn't require as much time or active involvement (I disagree, but it seems the RPP approves of inactive executives). He also has the advantage of being genuinely respected across party lines and (along with MasterJedi) of being clearly unenamoured with DWTL's abrasive manner - so the ticket could try and distance itself from the RPP leadership. Election would be too close to call.

I haven't seen a particularly active executive since getting here and its been all JCP.

No RPP ticket is receiving DA preferences this election.

Funny everyone guesses Smid because he was actually offered the spot but deferred to this person.  Maybe someone's gotten it, maybe they haven't.  That's my last hint

Out of curiosity, what would an active Vice-President do in your opinion?

BK's recent activity was nice. I would really like if the President and VP would use their bully pulpits though. A speech here or there could really change things as far as I'm concerned in my GM capacity.

Of course, the extent to which anyone cares what the GM says (you can all check out the rapidly developing crisis in South America today) is another matter.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a VP presiding over the Senate sometimes. This would allow the PPT to propose legislation and be active. I really don't know much about MasterJedi's ideology or positions because he's been PPT since I got here and thus didn't debate much.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't Duke, but it's anyone's guess Smiley

Duke is hardly loved on both sides of the aisle. I think he's an OK guy, but there's many on my side who despise the man.

And he's certainly not a better candidate than Franzl as was implied earlier.

Honestly this time we are doing an amazing job of keeping it secret (and pretty much the whole RPP knows this time too Wink)

Almost 3 full pages and no correct guesses yet (I'm not even sure why people thought Duke or myself).  The prize is still up for grabs people

Guesses so far (that I remember):
DWTL
Duke
PiT
Smid

I mean, I can't imagine Hamilton, although he would make a fine pitbull. Vepres is hardly a possibility. Rowan I can see.

Otherwise, screw it I'll just wait in anticipation. Smiley
