Marokai, grow up and get out of your pathetic ranting moron persona. It's a goddamn game. I'll do what I want and you need to mature and stop acting like you've been lobotomised. It's obvious you oppose us on principle, and you act like a hysterical toddler throwing a tantrum because they aren't getting a toy they wanted.

You're the most pathetic person on here.

This entire business about "zombies" is just a way to retain the hegemony of the chattering classes here on Atlas. Marokai would be out of a job if he did anything useful.

Pretty much. He can't argue properly so he slings mud instead in the only way he can think of.

Awesome. I especially liked my analysis of what an "ignorant do-nothing" really should refer to.

Frequently Asked Questions, w/ Xahar
November 11th, 2009

Questions marked by bolded first words and answers in italics.

*What's your opinion of the Lief/BK Administration so far?

I think they've broadly done a good job. I haven't seen the sort of initiative from the White House that Colin Wixted and Jas demonstrated, but that's very hard to achieve, and I don't fault them for it.

*Why do you care about Atlasia? I apologize for being vague.

There isn't any logical reason. I care about Atlasia because I like it. It's one of the more fun games I've ever played. It also lets me vent my anger, which is very useful.

*This is a pretty simple question, what do you think of the parties in Atlasia, individually? Answer honestly. If negative of any, why?

RPP: Largely power-hungry, morally bankrupt fools or passive followers. Quite negative. I've had some very poor experiences with them in the past.

DA: Positive, basically. They don't practice those things which the RPP and JCP do. At the same time, they're very much an old-style party, with all the advantages and disadvantages that apply. I don't agree with their liberalism, but I don't find it odious, either.

ARC: Some of the members I really dislike, but they draw Fluffy's ire, which I find amusing.

JCP: Ambivalent. I like many of the members personally, but I have issues with the party going as far back as long as I've been in Atlasia. I don't believe those will be resolved as long as that party stands.

LNF: The best party.

*The LNF has been criticized by many people, including myself, on the grounds that it doesn't really do much. How do you respond to this?

It's a bit difficult to do anything when you haven't got any power. But, unlike the Party of No, the LNF has consistently shown itself in favor of game reform.

*Who are your least and most favorite Atlasians, and why?

My favorite Atlasians are my fellow Chairs of the LNF. They have been in Atlasia, and they have come to the same general conclusions that I have. I respect that. My least favorite are Fluffy and his enablers, for obvious reasons.

*You just recently won an election for Governor of the Southeast. It doesn't really seem like your election is going to stand, though. Did you really want to be Governor or were you just trying to be a thorn in the side of the right-wing, or both?

I would disagree; I think the legal argument is quite clear, the only counterargument having been Fluffy's absurd analogies. OThat aside, being a thorn in the right's side is of course fun, but there is a lot of harmful legislation that has been passed in the Southeast. As Governor, I shall oversee a return to normality in Southeastern government.

*The JCP isn't exactly your favorite party, I know that. You often talk about how the JCP ran a completely terrible candidate, Friz, that defeated you very early on in 2008. I have a couple questions about this.

1: Why can't you let old battles die?
2: Bgwah countered your complaints about that race by saying "We won't forget December 2008" where he reached out to you by making you AG, and you got in trouble and kicked out of office. So don't you see that both sides, at least, have some grounds for animosity towards the other?

I won't let old battles die because the game remains the same. You talk about how things are different now, but the party is the same. The leaders are the same. There has been no détente, and I do not see how there could be. Perhaps they have some grievances, and they can keep them, but I find it odd that they should complain about this still, given that I have apologized to Ben, and we are friendly now.

*What's your opinion of Hamilton? You seem to take a soft approach to him, despite earlier hostile words to him from time to time, so why the change?

The answer is simple: he's not dangerous anymore. He's not quasi-leader of the Reactionary Party Party; the fact that he's put himself in a position where he can't have the power he once yielded leads me to believe that he's changed. At any rate, he's being made out as a scapegoat, and that's not right.

*Is there any circumstance you could ever see that you will join the JCP? Asked purely out of curiosity.

No.

*What's your opinion of me? Please, be honest.

You're a good deal more humble than most of the people around these parts (including me), and I respect that. The fight you fight is generally a good one, but the way you pursue it isn't always so. You can be incredibly abrasive at times, and calling you the "Fluffy of the right", while wrong, is not as far off as it may seem.

*You often complain alot about several reform measures directed at stemming recruitment and zombie voting, yet you always complain about the problem, as well. What policy would you support to deal with these problems?

They're bandages where stitches are needed. I support ilikeverin's position of abolishing the regions or the federal government, but barring that, I'd like to see decisive action against the inherently undemocratic use of regions as counting units. In addition, stemming recruitment is not a bad thing; I have recruited many prominent Atlasians, including you, PiT, and Duke. Trying to fix the problems through those measures without cutting off the good is a very narrow line, and I'd prefer that the much easier step be taken of eliminating the cause of zombies and strategic registration.

*Atlasia seems incredibly chaotic lately. Alot of people in the background, including myself, have considered quitting or almost feel like resigning, but don't, due to how entrenched we are and the people we care about remain. Bgwah has even considered the thought of Atlasia crashing again after an artificial boom, of sorts.

What do you think is the cause of such "chaos" and bad feelings? What do you think should be done about it?

I don't think that this is particularly special; bad feelings have always popped up. I think that we're seeing a period of party reorganization, after the rather decisive results of the past election; I believe I predicted before the election that November would be a month of this reorganization. It's amplified because we have more members before. his prediction of a "bust" I can agree with; we're deluding ourselves if we think that we can always keep up these numbers.

*If you could ban one person from Atlasia, who would it be?

phknrocket1k, because he has indicated his wish to me to be deregistered. Honestly, all the active Atlasians add something to the game, whether I like them or not; this game wouldn't be any fun if everyone agreed. Even if I want to pass measures they disapprove of, I'd prefer it be done while they are kicking and screaming, rather than when they are muzzled.

I'd like an interview, tomorrow or Wednesday, perhaps?

Can't say I ever thought of doing interviews before but if I was going to give interviews, they wouldn't be fluff pieces, I assure you. With that in mind, if you're still up for it, I'll interview anyone that wants it, I suppose.

I was the first to ask, may I be the second or third?

Okay, gosh, this is so very overwhelming. Tongue

Most of you will be getting a question sheet at some point in some order. NiK did ask first, so I'll send him some questions, though I don't exactly know what to ask him. BK and Hash will be next in line in some order, the RB and/or DWTL. This will certainly take some time. Wink
