Hmm, I've been around almost the entire time. I remember Boss Tweed's first thread that gave birth to the forum, though I was mostly lurking then. I became a registered voter a few months later. I have not changed my registration since March 21st, 2004.

Al, Gustaf, Lewis, and Verin are the only other people I can think of off the top of my head who are still around from that era.

There are some other old timers who still post on the forum (Nym, Supersoulty, Harry, etc) but not in Atlasia.
*Cough*
For the record, yes I compiled what is the Second Constitution. This, however, has been compiled from several sources - a lot of the language is lifted from the US Constitution, some from the First Constitution (though this was a diabolical mess), some from the Powers Amendment written by Ernest. Certainly, I think you would be hard pressed to find somebody who actually knows the history behind individual clauses better than I because I was a key player at the time most of it was being drafted.

I am happy to lend my pen to helping this along. I'll make a start on something on the Wiki.

We've hit an RPP senate majority (or at least 5) and only lost the presidency on a technicality and because, again, I was not there

I doubt it.  I think if you had been around no DAer would have been on the ticket and you would have lost by a larger margin.
Wrong and you know it.  Although I first floated the idea of PurpleState, the idea of a joint ticket with the DA was brought up by me on April 11th

This thread shows neatly why attempting to write an Official History Of Fantasyland would be a mistake.

I quite like the idea of opening up a sort of fantasyland historical profession though, if only for the chance to wallow in self-mockery.

Please sign up. You will need to contact Dave if you do not already have a wiki account. At the moment, I think concentrating on filling out the table on the main page just to get a grip of all the history would be a good idea.

I'm a little offended that the NLC has been mentioned so many times without my name coming up once. I mean, there were a lot of major contributors to the party (Moderate, Afleitch, Colin to name a few), but I was the founder, Chairman, and President pro tem of the Senate throughout its dominant period.

Anyway, the reason for the decline of the right wing at the time was the formation of the NLC. The AFRNC lost all three of its Senate seats in a short period of time to NLC members and future NLC members in special elections, and that basically destroyed the party. I think part of that was due to the Fezzy-Rin-chan break-up happening at the same time, which exposed personal tensions within the Atlasian right wing.

Looking at old threads is an honored pastime that apparently only Californians participate in. PiT hs been known for it, too.

DWDL, it's cool that you want to participate, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave the attacks for other pages.

I mean the history of Atlasia needs to be accurate, if HW tries to suggest that he is anything of importance that is a disservice to the project

I'd argue that every long-term member of Atlaisa is important, myself.

I can understand why, but you've had more of an impact despite never holding office.

I joined in September 2006 as a member of the ACA.  I time when that party was declining, the Republicans were gaining steam, and the JCP had 4 members

Does anyone else remember when Porce/Ebowed became a dictator for a week back when he first got elected president? He illegally appointed Preston to Attorney General and began going crazy, and there was tension for a while when me (as SoD) and Q (as VP) almost got him declared him ineligible for the Presidency. There was extra confusion because we weren't even sure who all was in the cabinet because some of his appointments hadn't gone through yet.

Now that was a fun time.

I remember lots of dictator-like things he did. Like completely ignore Senate rules as PPT.

Unless you were there, you don't remember anything.

I would now like an IP check from MJ or afleitch or whomever.
