Since Part I of the Troll Act was strongly opposed I reintroduce Part II of the Troll Act as "The Second Troll Act".

1. ALL FORMS OF TROLLING* are hereby illegal on the Fantasy Boards. First offensives result in warning and deletion of any "spam" created by the troll, however, multiple offensives will result in arrest and prosecution by the Attorney General infront of the Supreme Court.

2. IF the Supreme Court finds the defendent guilty he will have his voting rights removed permanently!

3. IF the defendent concludes that the ruling was unjust he/she has 10 days after the sentence was issued to file an appeal. **

*Forms of trolling include: offensive (racist, sexist, etc.) remarks against a person or group of people, advertising products or websites that have no purpose on the fantasy board, trying to take over fantasy government, posting of obscene images and messages, etc.

** "He said, she said" appeals are unsubstantial and will not be allowed for consideration.

"Trolling" needs to be defined. You can't just leave it open to interpretation. With a subject matter like this, things must be specific.

If obscene remarks can be interpreted by a bipatisan commission, I would favor it.  It seems "trolling" is a partisan issue on this Forum.  My roposal would be a bi-partisan commission of 6 members plus AFSCJ's to determing the status of the "trolling."

Under the definition of trolling that you edited in, King, it would be feasible to punish someone like Boss Tweed for any anti-UAC rants. It would fall under "uncalled for remarks against a person or group of people"

Still too vague and will be easily abused.

I like the idea of this bill but it seems to general to me. I think that the bans would be tough seeing that Dave doesn't really care what goes on over here Tongue.

I do like the bill, it just needs some more fine tuning. I very much like the idea of having trolls voting rights revoked.

I think that the ban part should be removed and that the "uncalled for remarks" perhaps should be removed and replaced with "offensive remarks" or something like that.

The AG or SC could determine if the comment was offensive or not.

As has been previously noted in this thread, "trolls" are not adequately defined in this piece of proposed legislation.  Until that flaw is rectified, I cannot support this bill.

Well it's time to vote.  All in favor, say aye.  All opposed, nay.

Nay.

With the vote being 0-7, this vote clearly fails.  However the other three senators are free to vote.  Perhaps we could have the first ever 0-10 failure Smiley
