With Dean having stopped campaigning, and Edwards having a strong showing, could the Idaho/Utah primaries have any effect on the outcome of the race? We're looking at two states that most likely have more conservative Democrats, and most likely won't be voting for Kerry in droves.

I think they will be important.

But I can't find any polls for them Sad

Edwards is broke, so I think he souldn't travel all the way out there, as that would cost alot of money.  Concentrate on Georgia.

Only a very small minority in those states are Democrats, and they're probably not all that conservative - propably mostly transplants from the East or CA, and environmental nuts, etc.

Northern Idaho has a substantial Democratic population that is niether of those things.  They are moderates, union members, socially conservative, etc.
I think Idaho will back Kerry, though personally I'll be going ot the caucuses to support Edwards.

Kerry will win the caucuses in Idaho. Edwards should focus on Utah to create a winning story before Super Tuesday.

Well I dunno about that Immy, I'd say Democrats strongest support is in Blaine county.  And around the U of I campus.  Wink

However, being in many debates with Idaho's Dems and some of the major newspapers around, I don't believe that Idaho Dems are very conservative, just my opinion though, Immy would know better 'cause he goes to their conventions.

Of course there is Blaine County, don't know how I forgot it. Wink

Anyway, during the 2002 convention the party chair made a big deal about us combating our liberal image.  But you are right, the candidates we ran for state-wide and federal office two years ago were pretty liberal.  But I believe the rank and file Democrats are moderates, or at least less conservative then Idaho Republicans.

May be that he's booting it off his own hard drive, making him the only one to see it.  Or he's booting it off his own FTP server with protections, making it so his connection can be the only one that sees it.

If you look at what his image adress is, it is: file:///C:/electforum.bmp

So it probably is coming off of his hard drive.

I didn't take the time to look at the sourve, but if that's the address, he's booting off his hard drive for sure.
