Just thought I would take the time to update everybody on the forum about our efforts to take over forum government (Just Joking Wink ).

As of now, we have made significant progress in candidate recruitment for our senate elections.  In District 2, Richard M. Nixon will be running for senate.  In District 3, PBrunsel is running to fill the seat vacated by Texasgurl.  In District 4, ijohn will be running against incumbent Harry and M, the UAC candidate.  In District 5, I will be running for reelection against TheKing2004.

For all of you republicans out there who were wondering what candidates were running--now you know.

I would also like to organize an IM meeting of the regional chairmen and the national chairman ASAP to discuss strategy, party bylaws, etc.  Let me know what time works for you.

Well, hopefully the constitutional amendment on districts will pass very soon which will give the senate the right to redistrict.  I, for one, will fight to keep the districts map as regionally cohesive as possible.
