Fritz, I really admire your efforts, but the left-leaning parties would be better of if you and the rest of the remaining Dems joined the AFIP, UL, or .... the UAC

Does anyone realize that this is bad for the forum?  We need to get ride of Demcrats and Republicans immediately to do the following:

1) Reduce partisanship ('Well, I'm not working with him, because, even though he agrees with me on every single issue, he's a Republicans, and Republicans suck!')
2) Reduce Zell Miller-Michael Moore Syndrome Tongue
3) Reduce non-members coming in and immediatly joining their party in real life, when there is a party better suited for them

Governor Ilikeverin, I respectfully request that you stay out of this thread.  I did not interfere with your efforts to build a  party, I would appreciate it if you don't interfere with mine.

Once I thought the same thing.  I was one of the first to argue for the dissolution of regular parties for the same reasons as you have mentioned above.  Unfortunately, the partisanship of the UAC has shown that republicans and democrats are not the only ones who wallow in rank partisanship.  In fact, I think partisanship will be lessened with big tent parties that include all stripes of the right and left wings, respectively.  Fantasy parties will invariably tend toward ideological narrowness which will lead to increased partisanship, preferential voting not withstanding.  I for one am fairly content with the status quo, with the exception of the fact that the democratic party is no longer in existence.  Hopefully Fritz's organizational efforts will rectify that sole blight on forum politics.

We are fracturing too much.  There are now 7 different fantasy parties a real-life Democrat could fit into.  That's too many!

Honestly, the AFIP are the ones who are doing the fracturing.  If you didn't want fractured parties, why did you split off in the first place?   You haven't succeeding in creating any real ideological distinctions.
