It is real.  They have just 'apologized' for their innacuracy.

N.Y. Post picks wrong running mate for Kerry

I ran up to Dunkin' Donuts about 2 hours ago to buy a copy, but I didn't start a thread right away until I saw an article-because I thought no one would believe me.

No, this was published well before anyone knew Kerry's actual choice.  The NY Post thought they had a source with inside information, and it turned out to be plain wrong.

Everyone else in the press is saying this the biggest journalistic screw-up in fifty years.
