I wish Monday June 7th 2004 to be a national day of mourning in memory of Ronald Reagan. Can we have a vote on it?

We usually try to keep reality separate from fantasy, at least on the board, StatesRights, with the exception of "real-world issues."

This is reasonable. I support this motion.

I support it, but expect it to be struck down by the President.

I concur with Nation... why don't we honor 'Ronaldo Reegan' instead? Tongue

We now have five votes.  Now lets wait for the president to strike it down.

I support it, as I would for any ex-President, but seeing as it is merely a Senate motion and not a bill, I don't feel that I have any particular role in this. I don't think it's something that needs signing, rather just a symbolic motion.

Thank you Mr President. My constituents appreciate the sentiments and your support.
