Anyone interested in state presidential polls should check out my new website, www.pollbooth.org.

I've been updating it for a few weeks at home, but just finished formatting the site for public viewing.  I haven't checked over everything yet, so there may still be some mistakes.

The site attempts to compile all the state-by-state polls from the last eight weeks, and uses a weighted average to assign each state to Bush or Kerry.  It is entirely based on poll results and 2000 election results, not my personal opinions.

I will update the site each week with new polls.  See the Methodology section for all the details.  I hope to expand the site in the next few weeks with more details about the individual polls.

Why is Kentucky "strong Bush"?

I can't even begin to tell you how hugely unpopular Bush is in Kentucky.

Kentucky is Strong Bush b/c there haven't been any polls there within the last 8 weeks, and in 2000 the state voted for Bush by >10%.

If Bush manages to win Kentucky, I'll eat my hat.

I don't even know anyone who voted for him last time, yet suspiciously he managed to win 62% in my county.

Yeah, the professors at Harvard didn't know anyone who had voted for Reagan either.

Bush will win Kentucky again and its not even a question

Oh yeah?

I think a more accurate statement would be: "Republican county officials will rig the election again, and it's not even a question."

I would bet that 30% of Democratic and third party votes in this state aren't even counted.

Still, I'm betting on Bush to lose Kentucky and the whole election.

And I bet Kerry will win Alabama.

It's not entirely inconceivable.

With the Iraq torture scandal, I wonder why Bush isn't getting stomped in every state.
