Although Bill Jennings Bryan is one of my historical icons, so is Teddy Roosevelt. I'll vote for McKinley in this one.

I knew that if I included TR it would make some Bryan supporters think twice about who to vote for. I like both Bryan and Roosevelt. Bryan is one of the top 5 orators in history, but I couldn't vote for him over McKinley. I wonder how Debs will do!

And it's also interesting in some of its parallels to 2004. McKinley led a unilateral war, a commission investigated war-time mismanagement, and there were labor issues in OH, PA, and WV.
