I voted Orvall Faubus - just a fantastic name for anyone.  However I don't fully understand this thread, and wasn't even aware StatesRights had a nickname.  But I always liked Jesse Helms.

No, His last political bid was to come out of retirement to try and unseat Clinton. He lost. It was his last election.
