Your link took me to a different ad.  The "Searching" ad is a 4.

The "Peace and Security" ad is a 3, that gets bumped up to a 4 for the attack on Congress letting the RNC pay part of he a buy cost.

I'll say one thing - they find something that works and they stick with it as long they think it's working. Ol' ball coach style attack.

If (if) things go according to plan, this has been a pretty well executed plan. Because now, and I had this conversation with someone a while ago, anything Kerry says, whether it makes sense or not, whether it's a good idea or not, is going to be called a flip-flop. There won't be any discussion from here on out. And forget complexities. There won't even be discussion. And now that this is so ingrained, people may look at it and just say, "well now he's taking another position" because that's what they expect him to do. What happens, I guess, when you let the other guy define you before you even begin to think about defining yourself.

This is another reason why these debates, especially the first one, will be high pressure for Kerry.

The B/C '04 Campaign should come out with a new ad almost everyweek showing John Kerry on different positions on different issues up until the election. A new issue for each week. It would be tough to fight off.

I said it before on another thread, 'kerry is the best witness against himself.'

It's not his own words, they heavily edit out what he said in the sentences. I think ABC did good job showing that. They used Norm Ornstein who is not a liberal as the commentator on the ads. They show the entire statements and it's very clear this ad is crap.
