CNN's Candy Crowley:  We're going live to Seattle, WA where Sen. StevenNick, fresh off a big electoral victory in the fifth district senate election, is expected to say a few words on Presidential hopeful John's behalf.  Here his is now:

Good afternoon, folks!  I promise I won't take up too much of your time; I just want to say a few things about the state of the forum.

As all of you probably know, some of the most prominent members of the forum have decided to leave fantasy politics.  They have all cited a hostile political environment as the impetus for their departure.

That got me thinking--how could we republicans help improve the political environment on this forum?  How can we help create a 'kinder, gentler' Atlasia?  I believe that John is the answer.

I don't think anyone can deny the joy that John brings to the forum.  The spelling, the team, the endless campaign predictions, Gusty, they all bring smiles to our faces.

I know that Team John can bring the joy back to this forum for so many who find the political climate odious and hateful.  That's why I'm a member of Team John.

Thank you all for listening.  God bless you and God bless Atlasia.

Candy Crowley:  Well there you have it--Sen. StevenNick saying that John can "bring the joy back to this forum."

Wolf Blitzer:  Candy, what kind of impact will this speech have on the presidential contest in October?  I mean, Sen. StevenNick is quite a political heavyweight.

Candy Crowley:  That he is, Wolf.  This speech alone has breathed new life into the John campaign.  We have yet to know the extent of Sen. StevenNick's political clout, though.  No doubt this helps John in the short term, but will it be enough to carry John over the top in October?  I suppose we'll find out.

I like Gustaf too, but saying I like him isn't the same thing as thinking he's done a good job as president.

The president can't do much anyway due to restricitons from the Constitution.

StevenNick I use MSN now. If you could come on I would be happy for I must talk to you about something.
