If you have a debate thread open for your particular Senate race, you may answer this question there.  As a person who has been out of work for some time, I am very interested in all Senate candidates response to this question.

What economic policies should the federal government pursue to stimulate job creation?

The government should offer tax breaks to small businesses, based on how many employees they employ.
It should not stop companies from outsourcing, but have a policy that if they do, they lose any tax breaks they might otherwise be getting and attempt to insert policies that would make it more economically feasible for a large company to keep jobs in the United States.

Sorry to be off topic, but will we have 1 ballot for the Senate and Gubernatorial races or will the Governors be administrating their own elections?

Governors will be doing their own elections.  This is because some Governors also have propositions they want on the ballot, also the rules for Governor elections might be different- i.e., they might not have preferential voting.

I think the type of policies FDR implicated during and after the Great Depresion such as the CCC. I think trying to change and get rid of outsourcing is unrealistic. If a company can save money and produce more goods at a cheaper price they are not going to stop.
