Burr would have led the U.S. Army into a war with Spain for Mexico and a war with franch for Louisiana. He may have even got involved with a war with Britain for Canada.

What would have been the results of that?

What would have been the results of that?

The U.S. Army would have defeated the Spanish in Cuba and Mexico. France, under pro-American Napoleon, would have just sold us Louisiana like in real life.

A war with Britain woulod have been catastrophic. The British Army would have invaded from Canada to take the Michigan Penninsula. The British would land at Charleston Harbor and march from South Carolina, through North Carolina, to Washington, D.C. The U.S. Army would probably had stopped them by the time they got to Washington, D.C, but British troops would have focused on bombarding New York City. After a war with Britain from 1801-1810, a peace treaty in paris would be signed ceding the U.S. a small part of Canada, but not all of it.

Meanwhile Secretary of State James Madison would have bought Alaska from Russia (reffered to as "Madison's Folly") and given the U.S. a northern possesion.

In 1804 he would have crushed Charles C. Pinckney the Federlist due to war with Britain. The Northeast would have went solid to Pinckney due to New England's trade being cut off due to war with Britain.

I'll go one question further: what would a U.S. map have looked like? (If you can't make a map for this, that's fine. I'm just curious.

I can't make a map, but Cuba and probably Northern Mexico would be in U.S. hands.

What part of Canada would the British have ceded? Would the U.S. have lost any territory to the British?

If Britain could have taken Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, the Michigan Peninsiula, New Orleans, or New York they would of kept any of those.

The U.S. would have gotten New Brunswick if they couldn't have won the war with Britain and ended it with a treaty.
