http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/polls/usatodaypolls.htm

Small change at the REGISTERED voter levels

Was Kerry +4 registerd voters, now +7 (3% bump)

Looks like mostly an "energy" level bump shoving registered voters into the "likely" category.

Minimal change in the whole population.

3% - about what was expected

Well then......thats game, set, and match for Kerry then!

Not since 1948 has an incumbant president have his challenger hit the 50% level in a Gallup Poll and the incumbant still win!!!!!

Easy Vorlorn.....i'm being lighthearted here Smiley

Wrong - this poll "proves" Bush will win...

No President with a Gallup Poll approval rating HIGHER than 44% in July has ever lost his bid for re-election.

Ford in 76 was at 43% and he lost by only 2% - while Bush is at 49% - 6% better - hence he will win by 4%

Gallup says so... Smiley

I'll take that in a heart beat.  It then goes to the House and Kerry can go back to Massachusetts.

But Depending on the outcome of the senate election we could still have a VP Edwards Smiley
