I'd like to announce an addition to the campaign staff.  As of now, Richard M. Nixon will be my chief advisor and campaign manager.

This will be my official campaign Headquarters from this point on.

Thank you all for listening,

Sen. StevenNick

I am proud to offer Gustaf my endorsment of his presidential campaign. This forum must not go through another four months of President Nym90.

I cant sign on to this ticket.........I put my credibility on the line when I endorsed Reagan fan earlier this week, then he dropped out.  It was my first and only participation in these elections.  I was made to look foolish.  Now he wants me to vote for you?  I dont think so.

I will sit this one out.

The following is a transcript of a speech StevenNick gave before the Ronald Reagan Republican Club of Pierce County:

Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests,

It is my honor to stand before you as the conservative candidate for president.  This forum is in need of some conservative values.  President Nym has recently introduced a proposal for the addition of a Forum House of Representatives.  Now, I'm not opposed to the addition of a House, in fact I can see the real benefits of doing so.  But Nym's proposal is the wrong way to go about it.  I will fight against that proposal and any other proposal to needlessly expand and complicate forum government.

But don't think for a second that just because I favor a small, manageable forum government and because I am a self-proclaimed conservative that I'm some kind of extremist.  I'm not.  During my term as a senator, I have fought with Boss Tweed, Harry, and other moderate members of that distinguished body of legislators for bipartisan solutions to the problems our forum faces.  Due to our efforts, preferential voting has been established in all presidential and senatorial elections.  We have also come together to make necessary amendments to the constitution.  We've addressed the regions issue, the registration deadline issue, and we're currently debating the merits of different redistricting plans.  And whether I serve this forum as a president, a senator, or a citizen, I will continue to fight with members of other parties for bipartisan solutions to the forum's problems.

Of course, not all problems can be solved in a bipartisan, or rather tripartisan, fashion.  There are times when a man must stand up for his beliefs regardless of the political futility.  I have done that also.  I cast my vote against the anti drug testing bill because I believe that no one student's right to privacy outweighs another student's right to be educated in a drug free community.  I am proud of my vote against the anti drug testing bill.

As important as these issues are, though, there is another more important issue.  This forum is facing tough times.  Months of neglect by our president have led to a divided populace.  Nym promised to lead us to prosperity.  Instead, he led us to a civil war.  He promised us reconciliation.  Instead, he has alienated even some in his own party with his extreme left agenda.

Extremism has led to the collapse of this forum in the past.  Extremism has created divisions in the democratic party.  Extremism has led to the destruction of the republican party.  Extremism has led to the meteoric rise of the all-too-often maligned UAC.  I am here to announce that I plan to end extremism on the right.  Events have been set in motion to revive the republican party under a new, more moderate brand of leadership.  Our platform will reflect that.  After all, the definition of conservatism is the opposition to radicalism.  Although we will always support common sense reform both on the forum and the in the world, that reform must never come at the cost of freedom and prosperity.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Reaganfan for his gracious endorsement.  I appreciate it and the republican party, upon reformation, will not forget it.  I know it must have been a tough thing to do, but you are a true patriot for doing it.  But now we must face the future.  I hope you will continue to support me as I lead the forum in a moderate, conservative fashion.  My agenda is to heal wounds, not create new ones.

Healing is what this forum needs.  So help me God, healing is what I will bring should you choose to elect me your president.

Thank you and God bless you all.

Great speech. Don't forget how great it was to also have a man like Paul PBrunsel behind you as well.
