Always wanted to ask this. Sorry my friends from Europe, I guess this one excludes you (Unless you think it also means Prime Minister).

As for me, I say no. To quote Abraham Lincoln, "Imagine such a sucker as me as president!"

When I was a kid I wanted to.  Now I don't really want the job, and I don't think I could stand a chance of winning anyways, due to certain lifestyle issues I  have.  (I'm not going to explain that comment further, you figure it out.)

I do, I want to make a this country better in the eyes of everyone. I want to make every country in the world well most of them, to like us again. I want to fight for the rights of all. But bring back some of the morals that our country was founded on.

John probably would win the Republican Primary over me. I guess I would have to be Lt. Governor.

No...for obvious reasons... Wink

I wouldn't even run for PM in Sweden...I wouldn't be in the SAP, hence not win...heck I wouldn't even be in one of the other parties.

I voted no. I'd love to run, but who the hell is going to vote for me? I'd have a hard enough time carrying New York City and San Francisco, nevermind Ohio, Missouri, and Florida. But perhaps president of the Cambridge Marxist-Hegelian League.

I'd love to, but an atheist could never get elected.

Well, first off I would never lie about my religious beliefs to just get elected.  Second, have you ever seen the media during a presidental election?  They'll know the name of my first dog within the first week of my declaring my candidacy.

Well, thank you, but I'm afraid most of your fellow religious right southern Repubicans would not.  I mean look at what happened with Kennedy, and we was just a Catholic!

You can get around it through soft language.  Simply say that you personally believe in self-spiritual guidance without a church heirarchy.

Maybe even that would still kill you, not sure.
