The "instant census" (suggested by Nym) would automatically count anyone who had posted to any board on this forum in the last month and not count anyone else.  It would not require anyone to post in a census thread.

Or we could do a real census a week or two after the June election.  Anyone who voted in the Presidential elections could be automatically counted (plus anyone who registered very recently),  but anyone who missed this election would have to post in a census thread, which would probably be open for a week or so.

Note that either census is simply for the purpose of redrawing districts and does not affect anyone's registration status.

It should be noted that my proposal is for anyone who hasn't posted anywhere on the Forum within one month not be counted for the purposes of the Census.

I support the instant census for the upcoming senatorial and Presidential elctions, and then afterwards a full census.

In the instant census, we ought not delist anyone, just exclude them from voting, so that if they come back for the full census their registration is still intact.

I wouldn't support excluding them from voting, just not including them for redistricting purposes (since, not having posted in at least a month, they are unlikely to vote).

Under the Constitution, we can only redistrict once every ten months.   Plus, I don't think Senators should have to run from different districts in three consecutive terms.
