Who your spouse is, if applicable
Who your kids are, if applicable
Any number they give you like SSN or Driver's License Number
Where you live
Some monetary information related to your taxes, depending on the tax system that is in place

I think that about covers it.  For naturalized citizens the government should probably know the date of naturalization.  Also, although perhaps obvious, the government should keep track of any criminal activity you have previously been suspected or convicted of.
