For those of you with a hard-on for Lou Dobbs, I guess you could use the "Other" option...LOL

Frank Church, for me...one of my favorite Senators ever.  With Governor Cecil Andrus a close second.

We're three for three today, J.

Frank Church was a great foreign policy whiz, and one of the greatest losses in the 1980 senatorial slaughter of the innocents.  I have it on good authority that he would have been McGovern's Secretary of State.

Agree about Church. His commision's findings about the CIA are also an important plus.
Too bad that not only he lost in 1980 to a total nutjob, but he died young a few years later.
He could have been a very influential voice in Democratic politics.

Thanks but I was going to go with Edgar Steele. He is running for governor as an independent.

Mike Simpson, followed by Mike Crapo, Jim Risch, Butch Otter, Dirk Kempthorne, Helen Chenoweth Hage, and Sali, the last two I think were mildly unhinged to say the least.

Honorable mentions to Frank Church and Glenn Taylor.

More likely a product of insanity.
