No age limit but the ability to argue coherently or at least make a proper English language sentence (I admit I let myself down here sometimes) which is intellectually coherent should be mandatory.

I would say 13.  The content on here is about PG-13 so it makes sense.  Damn, I feel like an old on here.  I also learned the "adjective noun" on here as well so I'm afraid a 10 year old's language arts skills will be screwed up on here.  Oh wait, I just called myself an "old".

I see no reason why preadolescent kids shouldn't be interested in politics. Especially the "pointless" stats part aspect of it.
There really is a law against that, Verily? Wow. What a freedomhating world we live in.

My only worry is I might have to tone down some of my language if we get more kids that young. Sad

There's a law about what information companies and organizations can request from children under the age of 13 online. That includes e-mail address, which makes it basically impossible to register someone on a forum if they're under 13.
So it's not posting, just creating the account.

Oh well, just let your daddy create the account for ya.

No age is too young.  I had the distinction of being the youngest poster for a bit, so I have experience with this issue Tongue

no, they just thought you were

akno joined a bit after me, and aren't you older than me like 99% of people in our grade?  Or are we counting Gustaf's brother?

I was born 10/27/90, so I'm younger than most in my grade, though I do not know your birthday

8/16/90.  If I had been born two weeks later, it would've been impossible for me to enter kindergarten in 1995.  How do you win?  Is the cutoff date for school registration different in New York? Sad

I was a political junkie by age 6 myself. I really was. By 1960, at age nine, I "knew" the political inclinations of each state, and watched the election returns until about 3 am.  My parents "knew" better than to try to get me to go to bed.  Smiley

Anyway, I also could write coherent complete sentences by then, believe it or not. I started reading the newspaper to get my political fix rather early in life.  I think I could have hacked it here even back then - sort of - yes I do, I really do.

So no age is too young.

And there you have it!
