If Tony didn't resign and was still the PM today, how would things be going for Labour and the rest of the country?

Gut reaction tells me the electorate would be highly dissatisfied with Labour, but not by any stretch enough to carry Cameron in to office. We forget the force that Blair was, I don't think he can ever be underestimated. I think a lot of support would bleed to the LibDems and Greens, and they would suffer horribly in the local and Euro elections, but I think we would see a Hung Parliament, with Labour as the largest party.

Then again, give the Labour voting public of 2005 a crystal ball to see what Brown has wrought, and they would carry Blair back to Num. 10 and give him a crown.
