George Allen doesn't make the infamous "Macaca" incident and wins his race for reelection to the Senate against Jim Webb. Allen then goes on to announce his candidacy for President for the 2008 Republican Nomination and after fighting with Romney in the primaries, he wins the nomination and picks Governor Jon Huntsman Jr as his Vice Presidential candidate.
Hillary Clinton runs better in the primaries and after a bitter battle against Senator Obama, Clinton is able to pull out a victory after Michigan and Florida's delegates are given full votes for the Convention. With that, Hillary eeks out a victory and chooses NM Governor Bill Richardson as her Vice Presidential candidate.
