That is not a rebuttal, that's justification for proselytizing. Two different things. You haven't given any reasonable response about others lack of want to be proselytized to.
So, first you preach the gospel, then, the response dictates whether you continue or move on.

Again, I don't see a need for a rebuttal, for there is nothing to rebut.

That's a good answer. At least now I can see how you feel about proselytizing to nonbelievers. I wasn't sure where you stood on it, mostly because of posting scripture where real answers are needed.

but my answer came DIRECTLY from scripture.  In other words, if you had taken the time to read the scriptures I posted, there would have been no need for me to put it in my own words.  Granted, I don't mind dividing scripture, for that is precisely what preaching is, but I need you to meet me halfway.

as you said, we're cool now

Neither. Find a receptive audience, and do your proselytizing, but don't push your product on people that don't want it.

mat 10:27 "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. 28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

So you get up in someone's face about your faith until such point that they find it so annoying that there's no way in hell they would convert?

are you reading the same verse I am?Huh

Yes, and I don't see the point of posting it as a response. What Earth said is correct - don't prosyletize to people who aren't receptive to it. As I said, prosyletizing is an art. Do it wrong and you may end up turning people against you. Nobody is telling you not to prosyletize, just to do it in a manner that makes it most effective.

Or do you get on your roof every morning at dawn to scream about scripture? Wink
