I have just received some most excellent news everybody!

At at around 4:30 Eastern Standard Time. I got a call from Shepherd University in West Virginia to inform me that they have indeed accepted me!

I wasn't knocking on you, I'm saying that it was good that if you did not think your first choices were good shots that you applied to a school with a very high acceptance rate.  Acceptance rate really does mean nothing though, it really has to do with how many students the school can except.

For example, Rutgers is the premier state school in NJ, but has the highest acceptance rate because there are some many people.  I believe the rate is 60% or so.  However, a lower state school such as Montclair or Ramapo has an acceptance around 35-40%, but people have gotten into those schools that could pwned by Rutgers
