First let me congratulate you on your hard fought victory. I am only sorry that my second preference (Lief) had to be defeated in order for you to win. However, I am sure he will remain a prominent figure for some time to come.
Speaking as a citizen who cast a decisive first preference vote on your behalf, I urge you to introduce legislation authorizing the use of military force against pirates, who are currently enjoying very lucrative careers by terrorising and ransoming innocent wayfarers through the waters off the coast of Somalia. This is a situation that Atlasia can and should take action upon. These people are international criminals, and they need to be stopped. The signature you are currenty sporting seems to indicate that you share this sentiment.

I wholly agree and believe that national security is an incredibly important role of the federal government. I will definitely keep this in mind when I swear in later this week.
I actually have already begun work on such a bill and hope to have it ready by the beginning of the next Senate session. But whichever of us does actually propose such a bill I hope we can work together with the DOEA and eachother on it.
