Illinois

Rep. Mark Kirk
b. September 15, 1959 [53 at inauguration]

US Representative (IL-10): 2001 -
Up for Re-Election in 2010

Alabama

Sen. Jeff Sessions
b. December 24, 1946 [66 at inauguration]

US Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama: 1981 - 1993

As a side note...I'll be counting Condi under California, not Alabama, so if you feel she has a shot of running in 2010, vote for her when she comes up under CA in a few weeks and not under "Someone Else (AL)" here.

Maine

Sen. Olympia Snowe

Collins 2012! She is the only person that could run that would get me to vote for them, beside Obama.

In my opinion, should either Olympia Snowe or Susan Collins run for the Presidency, then she will run in 2016 -- as a Democrat! Both went along with Obama on the 2009 stimulus package, and the GOP leadership isn't going to like that. Neither will the GOP rank-and-file outside of New England and Greater New York City.

Why would Snowe have a greater chance than Collins?

I think he can answer me without you quoting me, although I'm going to refuse to acknowledge any more of your quotations because I think you're doing it just to be annoying and boost your post count
