He's gotta beat Haslam in the primary first. The media seems to consider Haslam the front runner. So do many donors.

Mayor of Knoxville.  Position is non-partisan, but the guy identifies with the GOP and has already announced he is running.

He not only identifies, he funds them. Well, his dad and family does. Look up "Haslam" for campaign contributions. Big oil family. Long, long list that spans the continent.
