These results are todays but are interesting.

IA spans  9/10-9/23 400 LV   Bush +3
MN spans 9/18-9/24 500 LV  Tie ( Bush+2 leaners)

14 day span seems a little long for IA and LV is lower than MN.

I know that Rasmussen has just started dialy tracking for MN(Saturday, 10 day rolling average), that may explain why he has a larger sample here.

Despite the small sample and extended time, seems to match other IA polls at this point.

By the way, I checked somebody else's post on Rasmussen saying +1 for GA.  They were wrong.  Here was Friday nights release.

Released Friday, September 24
Georgia: Bush 53% Kerry 42%
Illinois: Kerry 51% Bush 42%
Iowa: Bush 48% Kerry 45%
Minnesota: Bush 46% Kerry 46%

That means you were right, numbers were released on Friday, story today.  I cut and pasted a piece of MN release.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
September 26, 2004--In Minnesota, the race for the White House remains tie. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows both Senator Kerry and President Bush earning 46% of the vote in this Battleground State.

That's unchanged from our last survey release on September 5. As a result, Minnesota remains in the "Toss-Up" column for our Electoral College projections. Prior to the Republican Convention, the state has been leaning in Senator Kerry's direction. Four years ago, Al Gore won Minnesota with a narrow two-point margin of victory over George W. Bush.

While the top-line results are the same, there has been a subtle shift in recent weeks. Today, when leaners are included, Bush leads 50%-48%. Earlier in the month, when leaners were included, Kerry had a modest lead.
