But Corzine has a lot of money and New Jersey is the most expensive state to run in out of all fifty states since you have to run ads in New York and Phillie.  Does Christie have any money?

Christie is not especially rich, but one would imagine that he's got a solid list of national contacts whom he could raise money from.  Further, since this would be the first election in which New Jersey elects a Lieutenant Governor, Christie could wind up picking biotech millionaire/Pompe disease crusader John Crowley for the number two spot.  (Crowley is likely to seek the GOP nomination himself, though Christie remains the heavy favorite.)

Christie is excellent at digging up the dirt. Corzine is going to be forced to defend his spending record and any other allegations made. In politics when you only defend without striking back you appear weak. Sad but true - I bet comparisons to and connections to Bush will be used much like in the presidential race and Corzine will have the upper hand

For what's it worth Lonegan does not expect Christie run (mostly because the already doomed Lonegan would become more doomed imho).  Wouldn't that suck, that would make him more of a pussy than Mike Moore

I would think not, but I honestly have no idea.  Being a former Morris county freeholder, I'd have to guess he's a pretty standard conservative.  But right now, around 95% of New Jersey has no idea who this guy is except for being the one who has convicted 129/129 politcians tried.  His message is anti-corruption and nothing else really
