I stood, amazed, as thousands of people spontaneously congregated at the White House.  I saw throngs of people shout, "USA!  Obama!  USA!  Obama!"  I saw police and security hug and high-five people on the street.  I saw America tonight, an America just as real as Sarah Palin's.  Never, ever let it be said again that Republicans love their country more than Democrats or vice versa.

United We Stand.  Cities, countryside, small towns and suburbs, Eastern Time, Hawaiian Time, or anything in between, from the US Virgin Islands to the Northern Mariana Islands, we are all Americans.  God Bless America, my home, sweet home.
