Oh, if you're interested Sam, the Dems have decided to fun the "cash-strapped" candidate running for KY-2.  Bush won the district by 60something percent but it's an open slot.

The DSCC is out with two ads attacking Gordon "I can afford several Ferraris and $1.2 million golf clubs" Smith for supporting social security privatization, and the DCCC is up with an ad attacking textile magnate Robin Hayes on gas prices.

updated.  I suggest checking out the Kennedy ad, the Franken's ad,, and Smith's ad bragging about how liberal Democrats love his support of gays.

But that Merkley ad is hilarious.  He must be REALLY worried if he's bragging about his support for gay rights with a "liberal democrat" acting as his spokesman in a key commercial.

This is sort of the inverse of Lunsford's strategy in Kentucky, but even moreso.

I wonder what Republican activists think about that in Oregon.
