Chris Matthews actually said "Tonight, McCain showed will be a partner and reach across the isile. Barack has yet to do this but will need to".  What a son of a B!tch.  He basehed McCain for the last 5 months.  Now is not the time to start fawning over McCain.  Both he and Obermann literally fawned over McCains speech, even more than Obamas.  Sick.

"Fawn" is the wrong word. McCain gave an extremely gracious speech after a bitterly-fought campaign. For that he deserves credit, as well as for his service to and love for our country. There's always a sense of coming together after an election, and there needs to be.
