So what? This is a POSITIVE not a negative! What on earth are you rambling about?

That video made me even more proud that she is the nominee. The fact that she is an Evangelical Christian will drive those hated "values voters" to the polls to vote for her. Those voters would have been lukewarm if Palin were not on the ticket.

PLEASE highlight this, there are far more Evangelicals then there are rabid atheists/secularists.

Oh no.  String her up.  This is absolutely terrible.  Horrors.

NBC really needs to get a life.

P.S.  Something tells me that the "culture wars" are far from over.  I'm going to have to bump up Vorlon's thread for a response that I saw there.

This is why Obama won't be riding this issue, Sam. It's time to stop being divided on religious beliefs, or strength thereof.

Yes. There's a difference between asking for the Lord's guidance and spilling blood in his name.

He's already shut down most of the would-be 527 groups. When his campaigners go to rallies he tells them not to make offensive signs (you know, the hand-made kind that often show up at protests) and use the generic Obama sign instead. So his campaign is exercising control. And, I would imagine, are some of the people who are influenced by his message. But he can hardly control all of the people on the Internet. I saw this exact same thing when Hillary was running, but it was clear that most of it was coming from the media and certain sectors of the left, not Obama directly. But I'd agree he could make a stronger statement about why certain kinds of things should have no relevance.

And as I have said, these Palin scandals are not making me comfortable because some Dems are arraying themselves against a potentially sympathetic figure.

I think Obama is the only Democrat who actually understands what's going on.  Well, JSojourner and few others, but very few.

Seriously, Obama's supporters are really going to create a backlash. I don't think they realize what they are doing. Obama would do well to try to shut them up.

Ok, let me back up.  Obama doesn't need to do a thing.  Just let a sympathetic MSM do the dirty work and of course, that is what is happening.

The McCain camp claims that it knew all of this beforehand. Hence they knew of the sh*tstorm and that would happen and went ahead anyway. The responsibility is 100% theirs... OR they are liars and didn't vet her.

You mean the daughter's pregnancy.? She's been pregnant for 5 months.  You trying to say they didn't know about that?  Paleeez.  Maybe they didn't think the media was going to be in attack mode over a private matter?

The DUI her husband who isn;t even a candidate got 22 years ago?  The fishing without a license?

The investigation?  Hell, even I've been reading about that one for 2 months.

This supposedly breaking story breathlessly reported by MSBC in which the quotes amount to zero?

The membership in AIP that ABC reported today was untrue - she's never been a member of that party and been a registered Republican since 1982?  Supporter of Pat Buchannan which it turns out it was Stephen Forbes.

The bullsh**t story that she was claiming her down syndrom baby was hers when it wasn't?

I mean, what's to indicate she hasn't been vetted because I don't see anything here.

OMG!  This is a horrible video!  What will the Republican socon base (and most mainstream Christians) think about Palin praying for God's will to be done?  That evil Our Father prayer says the same thing!

Panic!  Palin is clearly doomed!  When will she drop out of the race?

That tidbit was disclosed Wednesday.  I think the McCain knew what they were doing.

They just didn't tell the press, directly.

Those "women hating, motherhood hating, God hating, Democrats, their lapdogs, the liberal elitist media, who are mean to sweet Sarah Palin."

Palin isn't sweet, and the sh**t that is going to come out of the Alaska GOP going forward is going to undermine that message.

Note the quotes.  That is the message being sent.  At worst, have the media dump is false; at best, it all.  Palin comes off as a victim, a tough, resilient victim, but a victim none the less.  It gets her sympathy and votes.

McCain is taking emotional politics to a new level.
