If Bill Gates votes for option four, he must want his federal taxes increased and his state taxes lowered.

It's a fun exercise. Anyway, I predict option two.

I really doubt Bill Gates cares much about his tax rate. Even if he was paying two-thirds, it's not like he'd go starving.

Definetly Rossi for governor and Reichert for congress.  I would guess he goes Obama because he's butt buddies with Warren Buffett

IIRC: Didn't Gates back Bush in 2004 despite Buffet going for Kerry?

Maybe he will go to McCain after the anti-trust shennagans of the 1998-2001 period. Then again, Obama is big on Patent Law.

Most likely option 2. One thing I know is that he would not vote for Rossi because Gates tends to like the moderates and Rossi is definately not a moderate.

I am not so sure about the Obama vs McCain part of the equation, it seems like it would be a tossup to me.

By the way when it comes to taxes the Gates family is actually a big proponent of the estate tax.

I'm guessing #2, but #3 is also possible.

He's already donated to Obama and Reichert, so he's probably supporting those two. As for Governor, no hints yet, but he usually supports incumbents.

He voted a Democratic ballot in the primary and donated to Obama, so it's pretty clear who he's going to vote for presidentially.

My best guess would be Obama/Gregoire/Reichert.

Why wouldn't he support Burner? I think she would come before Gregoire because of her work in Microsoft.

IIRC, he donated to both Bush and Kerry in 2004. I really don't know what he'll do.

For a man in his position it was either both or neither.
