what about trudeau?  trudeaumania part 2 sounds exciting!

anyway, since the liberal party is at joke status, why not pick ruby dhalla?  it would do well with the maxim 'reader' demographic.

Ujjal Dosanjh,

Coming within a fingernail of losing a safe seat doesn't really do him much in the way of favours...

I hate Dosanjh. There's a very anti-NDP quote of his from last week.

Ruby Dhalla has been mentioned a bit, and if I were a Liberal, I would be rooting for her.

Bump.

Now that the next leader is going to be PM of a coalition government, I guess I can't do this anymore.

So who will be designated Prime Minister in Vancouver on May 2? At the moment, it looks like a race between Ignatieff and Rae. I don't like Rae, so I'm rooting for Ignatieff.

Bob Rae is nothing more than a political opportunist, who jumped ship as soon as it would benefit him. Of course, turns out that's the core fundamental policy of the NDP, so he'd probably be the best leader for the Liberals. The rest of the NDP MPs could go join him in the Liberal Party then.

Dark horse is Leblanc, look for him to come up the middle like Dion did. Unless, the Liberals have learned their lesson.

It will be fun if the Conservative Party was also in a leadership race at the same time, but Harper is someone who would rather drive his party off a cliff than step aside.
