This is what the EV map if it was basic on 2008 population. I think it will be close to what we will have for the 2012 election. I went ahead and did the McCain vs Obama map with the state each of them are ahead in right now..

Is this better, Hashemite?

According to 538.com, this is what the EV map of John McCain versus Barack Obama would look like if it was based on 2008 demographics.  However, I think this result will be closer to what we should expect for the 2012 election rather than 2008.

So you don't have to click the link, I did a McCain-Obama 2008 map to show you who is projected as ahead in each state right now:

EDIT: After reading the link, that's not what Josh22 was trying to say at all so please ignore the above translation.  Apparently, this website changed the electoral college map from being based off 2000 census data to 2008 census estimate (actually a combination 2007 + 2006 census estimate).  This is probably the EV map we should expect for 2012 elections, which will be based off 2010 census data.

I'd be curious to compare a Barack Obama speech with a State's Raats speech.  Something tells me one of you would sound and act erudite, informed and articulate.  And the other would froth and foam about "naggers" and "those people"...
