Not in high school yet. Tongue

But at mine you have to take PE in 9th and 10th grade. However, you don't need the second year if you play intermural sports (which I will).

Action Jackson.  Started in 8th grade, my gym teacher was a huge Knicks fan.  One of his favorite players was Mark Jackson, (who was traded from the Knicks a few years prior).  Mark Jackson was often called Action Jackson, my last name is Jackson as well and he started calling me Action Jackson, and it stuck from there

Never took PE. My school district let you substitute outside of school club sports for gym class.

Not really.  Any nicknames I remember were generally used outside of gym, too.

My nickname was red in gym class [since I had obnoxious red hair throughout my high school years]. Other than that outside gym my nickname was still Matchu and it stuck all the way through graduation.

King Dong.

No, seriously I had no nickname but I lived in fear of the bigger boys.  They were always attacking other unathletic youths.  Oddly enough they never actually bothered me - probably because of my distinction as 'smartest kid in school', but I always feared it.

In a few months time I'll be feeling exactly like you. Gym sucks and my teacher stares at me for no reason.

I was big B.  We had to do this activity where you get your entire team through a hula hoop hanging from the ceiling about 4 feet above the ground with the entire team starting on one side.

Since I was like 6'2" and pretty solid, I naturally went in the middle when equal numbers were on both sides.. but that was hard.  That's when I earned the nickname Big B.

It was only reinforced when we had to learn swing dancing and I was the ONLY guy that chose a girl as a partner.. I mean, come on.. it's 9th grade and everybody was too shy.. how lame.

Chuck, even though that's not even close to my real name, it was because my last name is Norris and the Real Chuck lives in the same town as I.

Normally names in my school were by adding 'y' on the end,
my surname is Graham so that didn't really work,
so I didn't have one

Then be glad your name isn't "TIN".....Wink
