Interesting topic. This sums up why I'm starting to hate California despite its politics now. It's ironic a state known for so much environmental activism is such an environmental disaster.

Visalia is the really obvious one, but there are plenty of others.

So Visalia is really a commuter town? Seriously? I always assumed it was just a smaller version of Fresno (ever since being aware of it after seeing Ken Park.)

If it is...wow.

No way. Visalia is further away from the Bay Area than Fresno, and would be a ridiculous commute to LA. Maybe going to Fresno, but Visalia is its own city. (really polluted) I think the growth is mostly Hispanic laborers.

I'll be passing through Visalia on my way to Yosemite on a school trip in a couple weeks, I think. I'll notify you guys if there's anything interesting.

If you want to see something interesting you should watch the movie Ken Park instead.

Eh? Well, I mix up those Central Valley towns. The only time Visalia affects me is when I go to Municipal Stadium to see the Giants play the Oaks.
