Tulsa Municipal rose Garden, Tulsa, Oklahoma

My fellow Atlasians,

I am here today in 'The Oil Capital of the World', home of the Tulsa Drillers, the Tulsa Oilers, the Golden Driller monument, to talk to you about ending the dependence of this city, our region and the nation on oil.

In the spirit of full disclosue, Tulsa is not my favourite city inthe world. I expect I may have lost some votes by coming here today, but it is right to demand that the Senate passes legislation favouring green policies for water usage, manufacturing pollutant caps, and energy efficiency. The regions also have a role to play in this important work.

If elected to the senate, I will not vote to approve a SEA who doesn't recognise the importance of Atlasian leadership in developing a strong and meaningful post-Kyoto framework.

If elected to the senate, I will introduce and encourage environmentally-friendly legislation.

If elected to the senate, I will ensure that the Midwest region has a clean, green future as the centre of Atlasian economic and lifestyle advancement.

I promise to fight this campaign with three moderations:

1. I won't pass bad legislation.

2. I shall always consider the livelihoods of those dependent on polluting industries or fossil-fuel provision.

3. I will listen to he concerns of any citizen, if they feel I am not acting in accordance with these goals and promises or being an effective senator for the Midwest and NLP.

I also think Tulsa is the appropriate place to announce my very first piece of legislation if electe to the Senate.

Government Employee Non-Discrimination Bill[/i]

-In recognition of the discrimination of minorities throughout this republic's history, the Senate of the Republic of Atlasia acknowledges past errors and determines not to discriminate in the employment of federal employees for any of the following reasons:

-Gender or gender identification;

-Race or race identification;

-Age, within appropriate boundaries as determined in other statutes;

-Sexuality or sexuality identification;

-Political beliefs in accordance with Atlasian law;

-Religious beliefs in accordance with Atlasian law;

or

-Physical or mental disabilities that do not affect a candidate's suitability for employment.

Small moderations may be made, but that is the crux of it.

It's time for legally binding protections at the federal level, and if elected, I will ensure we get some.

Thank you.
