There's already a thread reporting that some random rich women has endorsed one of the two serious Democratic candidates.

I don't know whether this has already been picked up but RFK's widow, Ethel, has came out for Obama too

http://blogs.usatoday.com/onpolitics/2008/02/latest-in-kenne.html

Her statement:

Over these past few years, I’ve watched Senator Obama inspire Americans from all walks of life to believe in real change and a new sense of hope and possibility. He’s a magnetic force, drawing the nation together for the common good and galvanizing us all to help shape our country’s future.

Barack is so like Bobby, who struggled for the rights of the poor in the Mississippi Delta and Appalachia, traveled to California to stand in solidarity with Cesar Chavez and farm workers, and fought to end another war that cost so many lives.

Today, we crave a leader with vision who can help us regain our lost humanity and rekindle our inherent generosity. With courage, caring, and charisma, Senator Obama is leading us toward a kinder, gentler world.

Senator Obama’s candidacy sends out ‘ripples of hope’ that can build a ‘current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.’  I am proud to support Barack Obama, and look forward to him leading this country toward a brighter, more hopeful future.

This will likely be in the news tomorrow and on the newspapers. Couldn't come at a better time too.

Jesus,

Caroline comes out and says "he's like my Dad"

Ethel comes out and says "he's like my husband"

I'm expecting bad news "Obese Tuesday" - so if what I want eventuates... I'll be happy.

This could potentially a big blow to Hillary Clinton in the delegate-laden state of California.  Not to mention, it will help Barack Obama throughout most of the country, too.

This should be the first page story tomorrow in California, which can only be good for Obama.

Lol @ the Hashemite-Al Lovefest. We need to add a veiwer discretion warning if it gets any more graphic.

Hillary's First Lady work counts as experience, but Shriver is just some random bimbo? What great logic.

I just got home from the rally at UCLA.

I pursuaded my Mom, who a few weeks ago was a solid Clinton supporter to go (she's a huge Caroline Kennedy fan) and she's now an enthusiastic Obama supporter and is working on trying to get my granparents to consider voting for him...

Michelle Obama is awesome!  She's so smart and confident and gorgeous and gave a phenomenal speech.  I honestly think she may be even better on the stump than her husband.

Oprah gave a rousing speech, too, and the Maria Shriver endorsement was the cherry on top of an exciting political event.

I think Obama is going to definitely win on election day.  The question is whether he will be able to counterbalance the early voters that chose Clinton.

I have to agree with you that Michelle Obama is the perfect political spouse.

As Kos said, he would strongly support an Obama/Edwards ticket... that is, Michelle Obama/Elizabeth Edwards.

Hes getting ridiculous amounts of support from past presidential families....Eisenhower's grandaughter endorsed Obama too right after Ethel did.

I think a son of Eisenhower endorsed Kerry in 2004, IIRC
