Thank you for answering my questions.

Here is the first of a series of sites where Dr.Hernandez is lisked as a former Cabinet member in the government of Mexico:

http://www.reforminstitute.org/about/AboutHernandez.aspx

Here is a second:

If you want, I can provide more.

Hear is a list of the Executive Cabinet of Mexico:

Please show me where there is an office of Mexicans Abroad?  (Yes, I checked before I made the statement.)

Oh, and if you don't like Wikipedea, try the CIA:

Yes, I want you to demonstrate that.

First, I don't know whether the position Dr. Hernandez held was a cabinet office.

Second, I have cited reasonable sources that asserted it was.

Third, I can cite more (major universities) which also assert that the office he held was a cabinet office.

Finally, I believe that what has happened is that Dr. Hernandez represented to the American media that he was a member of the cabinet, which they accepted as true, even if it was not true.

Well, I trust the CIA, and Wiki for that matter, than your sources.  He held a position, but not a cabinet position.  I can understand how you made the mistake, but you should have check.

First, I have little doubt that there is some puffery and/or misunderstanding.

Second, whether the media accepts it as true, really doesn't make any difference to whether or not it is true.  It is not true, as has been demonstrated.
