I'm 99% sure "black-brown" is a term that the debate sponsors are using.
Why are they sponsoring it? Are they mentally retarded or something, don't they know that us minorites really don't like be called as a group because of our skin color.

Awesome answer by Edwards on Gun Control. He focused more on talking about protecting peoples right, rather than restriciting it.

Regardless of who originally introduced the term, casually throwing it around like that is a pretty stupid move.

If its as offensive as it sounds...how come none of the candidates have picked up on it?

"On Tuesday, January 15, MSNBC will broadcast a live debate among the Democratic candidates in Las Vegas, Nevada. Co-sponsored by the 100 Black Men of America, the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, IMPACTO, the Nevada Democratic Party and the College of Southern Nevada, this debate will be focused on black-brown issues"

None of them wants to be seen talking about race, not after the most recent spat.

Only Hillary used it, showing her stupidity on race issues....

Really guys, this is a term created by the sponsors. It was also used in an Iowa debate and there wasn't any controversy.

You're making mountains out of molehills.

I dont know what she's thinking using it. I just wouldnt make any direct reference to groups at that point. those two not using it is brilliant. "Black-Brown" no matter how muh everyone says she had to, will not help her at all.

I never acted like it was a big deal, but it certainly is something stupid to say...

In any case its so far been a fair debate for all three of them...none of them have really ganged up and attacked anyone[yet]. Im sure they have learned from their mistakes for now.

Clinton's answer on the use of fear in her campaign was awful, IMO. She said no she didn't mean it that way and then went into a ramble with gory details filled with fear.

Also, I loved the silence on Clinton's part when Obama and Edwards both affirmed they don't take money from PACs.

I really liked Obama's answer on educating minorities. Overall, it was a very dull debate though and I wouldn't expect it to have much of an impact.

Looking at the debate now, Obama really slammed on her that comment, too, mentioning the "culture of fear". Overall pretty dull; I think Obama came out just slightly ahead of Clinton but not enough to make much difference.
